“Meditation”

You can now sit down for a moment and close your eyes. Listen to the birds singing and imagine that they are carrying all your worries away with them, soaring into the sky and transforming into a rainbow. If you feel like it, you can hold your hands as in the Lotus Position and imagine a flower you saw on the trail. Recall its colour and shape. Imagine that you are breathing in its fragrance and focus on the air moving into and out of your body.

“Corpse Pose” – relaxation

Life is a cycle. The seasons change from spring to summer to autumn to winter. If you observe nature, it also rests in winter so that life can be reborn in the spring. There is day and night, birth and death. If soil is farmed continuously, it becomes exhausted, just like our bodies. After all these actions, the time has now come to rest. You can find a nice spot, perhaps here or further down in the forest, to lie down for a moment. Let the earth accept your weight. Imagine the imprint of your body on the ground like a wolf’s tracks in the soil and let the effects of practising yoga and walking spread through you and infuse into all your cells. Just relax and do nothing!

Thank you for having taken this walk with me and thank you to all the teachers who have passed down yoga for thousands of years.

Namasté.
