“Warrior Pose II”

To enter this pose, start by standing with your feet together and your arms by your sides. Spread your legs and turn your right foot 90° outwards and your left foot slightly inwards. Bend your right leg. Extend your arms and turn your head to the right, looking ahead of you, far into the distance, as if you were visualising a target. Imagine that your arms are very long. Once you have entered the pose, breathe deeply and observe how you feel. Then change sides.
The power of the warrior comes up from the earth and flows through your legs. You can feel your feet and how the energy fills your trunk. Well anchored, you can allow your strength to spread out through your arms and your face. You are now ready to act in the world and for the world, confident and courageous!
